Here is my idea:
How about spending 3 days in a lovely Italian Villa in Rome knitting?
The Villa is situated close to down town Rome and I will organise city tour in the morning and afternoons knitting classes, a perfect occasion to discover the city with all its secrets and learn how to knit altogether.

To be part of the “knitting weekend group” you have to know the basis of knitting, you will be able to cast on,bind off and ..little more.
The weekend will be organised as follow:
15 hours of classes split in the 3 days:
- DIFFERENT KIND OF
+ INCREASES
– DECREASES - PICKING UP STICHES to form borders
- SEW PARTS
- TOP DOWN
- BABY clothes
- READING PATTERN
You will also have many knitting books and magazine(in english and french) available for you to read and photocopy to bring home with you!

every day in the morning - Accomodation
The B&B is a nice villa with a big garden situated close to my house. There is a cosy room available for our knitting classes. Prices to be confirmed with the B&B, special discount will be applied for the knitting group: stay 3 nights plus breakfast and pay for 2!
The Villa has 3 double rooms, nice and warm but if you wish to stay in a different accommodation I can provide you a list of hotels not far from my house, close to the Tiber in the Ponte Milvio Piazza. If no one of you will stay in the Villa we can meet for our knitting classes at my place.

CITY TOURS
You are free to go and visit the city on your own or you can let me organising your mornings as follow:
Thursday Afternoon: greetings and first knitting class.
Friday Morning: piazza del Popolo, visit to S. Maria del Popolo church where we can admire the Caravaggio famous paint. Walk from via del Babuino to Piazza di Spagna with a little bit of shopping!! Lunch at GUSTO in piazza Augusto Imperatore and walk back on via del Corso.
Friday evening: we could go to enjoy Italian movida to piazza Ponte Milvio where there are many nice bars and restaurants.
Saturday Walk to via Giulia, piazza Farnese, campo de’Fiori where we can buy some fresh fruit and vegetables at the famous roman market.
Sunday: for those who are not flying back home we can visit piazza Navona, S. Agnese church, Chiesa della pace e Chiostro del Bramante. Alternatively we could go by car to see the Coliseum, Terme di Caracalla, Boccadella Verità and Fori Imperiali.

We could even have a quick lunch at the nice brasserie Cul de sac
If you wish to visit the city on your own I will be happy to help you with any information regarding buses or places of interest to go such as San Pietro, Musei Vaticani, Colosseo, Fontana di trevi..
There is a bus station right in front of the B&B. If you will be a consistent number of ladies participating to this weekend we could also oganise private transfers from and to the B&B.
